Season's Greetings and New Music Possibilities Mark Dreamcatcher's October In 2025
Dreamcatcher's October in 2025 has been filled with previews, behind-the-scenes work, and a bit of future content for fans to look forward to.

October is spooky season for many people, but for Dreamcatcher fans, that meant every year remembering how the group perfectly encapsulated the horror vibe with their bold re-debut and Nightmare series of music. This is true even as we sit in Dreamcatcher's post-exclusive contract era - I like to remind people who are still struggling with the fact that Dreamcatcher hasn't done official group content in a while that we'll always have amazing music to listen to, especially as it relates to the dark concept that became their signature calling card.
But that doesn't mean Dreamcatcher's members haven't been busy this month, either. Part of being a K-Pop fan is those lulls in between releases, but also the anticipation of what might come next. None of that has changed for Dreamcatcher, with various members of the group posting or teasing things they're working on, so here's what October has had to offer.

Gahyun's been working on her social media game lately, with both a funny video from a recent trip to Japan as well as a mini-vlog of her trip to the Diesel fashion store in Seoul. When it comes to acting prospects, it's good to display a range of expression, from the silly to the serious to the chic, so these double up as both a bit of advertisement and a way to keep fans up-to-date on what Gahyun's been doing lately. Besides this, we know that Gahyun recently attended a 30th anniversary Esquire Korea event and might have made a couple new connections there, if the following on her Instagram is any indication.

Handong has continued to be one of the most active of the non-contracted Dreamcatcher members through October, as filming for a new music video to accompany her upcoming song release appears to have concluded. A couple of Dreamcatcher-esque dark concept images surfaced on Weibo, along with a thank you post from Handong to the entire crew for filming.
To fuel even more speculation, a recent Weibo update even featured a pic with fellow Dreamcatcher member Dami at Dreamcatcher Company. We already knew Handong was not only in South Korea but also at the company with Dreamcatcher's Main Rapper, but as to what that means is still a mystery. Eitther way, new things are cooking for Handong and I look forward to seeing what comes of it.
UAU's been a bit more behind the scenes lately, as brief mentions of upcoming music on chat platform Fromm were until recently the only bit of news on what they have coming up in the future. We did see a nice Chuseok greeting, featuring guest dog Pie who went on a mini-journey across UAU as they wished fans a good holiday. Most of Latin America also got featured in the subunit's recent Play video, with all the members expressing happiness at returning to the region for more cities than when they were present as all of Dreamcatcher. Between JiU not surprisingly recommending food and health items, SuA being wild with water, and Yoohyeon being fascinated with a new camera, there was a little bit of everything in this behind-the-scenes video.
Yet for all the fun looks back to the summer, we managed to get just a bit of future content from UAU in the form of this upcoming year's Seasons Greetings concept. Carrying forward the now-annual Dreamcatcher (and K-Pop industry) tradition of offering such packages for the new year, The Night Bloom appears to be a UAU-style continuation of their theme from debut. Fancy nights out with good food and drink are a part of ringing in the new year and the holidays, and UAU embraced that with their concept film. The merchandise listing for UAU's 2026 Season's Greetings contains the usual practical desk calendar and photo book but also has a few fun items like a keyring and diary as well.

Siyeon continued to post a few pictures from her recent vacation, and as expected they had range from the meme-worthy to the casually cool. There's also been a bit of a baby picture theme going on the crcktkl band account that Siyeon appears to help maintain, perhaps showing the band members during their younger years. With a delay potentially inbound for Siyeon's band we may have to be satisfied for now with these little teases, but the news that it's at least been recorded will help just a bit. Yet Siyeon did still find time to post, like clockwork, on the 13th with another letter of the word Dreamcatcher with a nice 7-member picture from what appears to be rehearsal for one of the group's concerts last year, reminding everyone that the group still thinks of their fans, and for a day when we will see Dreamcatcher together once again. Until that time, and as we see more from Dreamcatcher's various endeavors, you can count on me to report on them - so for all that and more, I'll see you here next time!
