Dreamcatcher Keeps Fans Up To Date On Social Media As They Await New Content
Dreamcatcher's various members are hard at work on what's coming next, but they've kept themselves visible on social media throughout September.

Lulls are inevitable in the world of K-Pop, especially between releases and new content, and perhaps even moreso if the group, like Dreamcatcher, is in their post-exclusive contract era. This can make fans a bit nervous about what's to come next, especially when there's a bit of uncertainty involved. Mid-September has brought with it one of these periods, with fans wonder what might be next from the various members of Dreamcatcher.
Yet it seems Dreamcatcher is well aware of this - after all, on a practical level keeping visible and updating is a part of reassuring fans - and we've seen a few updates across the members' social media posts in order to do so. We're sure to see some new content or music in the future, given some of these recent updates, but until then, Dreamcatcher's letting us know they're still around. Let's take a look!

Of all the members, youngest member Gahyun has been one of the busiest in terms of video content. She recently opened a personal Tiktok account, and began filling it with some short form videos from her Instagram to start things off. She's mentioned wanting to work on video content before, with a likelihood that shorter video is a good place to start, so we'll see how it goes.

We also saw Gahyun drop in on Instagram for a quick live, and make an appearance with friends Billlie Moon Sua and Weki Meki Yoojung on Yoojung's own YouTube channel. We've seen a lot of Gahyun hanging out with friends from her idol network, as eagle-eyed fans have spotted her most recently taking in a SEVENTEEN concert with Sua, but an extended appearance with Yoojung and Sua was an opportunity to hear her talk about how they met, what they like to eat and more. Since this was a board game cafe, we also got to see the competitive, loud Gahyun that fans have gotten to know over the years in various bits of Dreamcatcher variety content. All in all, it's nice to see Gahyun get going a bit with her appearances and brand-building in her efforts to get into the acting world, though she did take a brief break to get together with Yoohyeon, something they'd been planning since Yoohyeon was on tour with the rest of UAU.

Speaking of brand-building, Handong continues to be one of the most consistent in posting, with multiple videos and image posts from her official Douyin and Weibo accounts as well as on Instagram. Curiously enough, many of the posts appear to point to the fact that she's working on new music, with an album that she's mentioned multiple times over the summer that she seems hard at work at completing. The above picture seems to come from a practice studio, with Handong in comfortable wear seeming to be coming off of a practice session. We'll have to see where this goes for Dreamcatcher's Chinese-born member, but hopefully we'll hear more soon.

Siyeon's cryptic posts from what might be her band's official Instagram account continued these past couple of weeks, but she did drop into a quick Instagram live to kill a small amount of time while she waited for someone to arrive at the studio. The behind-the-scenes work to get her band going continues, but she did also take some time for some nice R&R out on the water on a jetski. With her hair seemingly back to black, it's possible that we may be getting just a bit closer to hearing something new from her on the music front.

UAU as a whole appears to be back working behind the scenes on their next release, but we've seen snippets of them taking well-deserved breaks from in front of the camera for outings and slice of life pictures. SuA's long-time friends Suna and Seungyeon appeared to enjoy themselves at a recent night out at a concert, with Seungyeon posting some fun pictures and video. After an extremely busy summer of debut release content and a tour across two continents, UAU taking time away from the officialness of public posts is understandable, so it's nice to see some of them having fun in more informal settings.

Besides, with the official Dreamcatcher accounts still trickling out promotions content from back in May and June, fans are still getting that bit of media to tide them over. What we'll see from now til the end of the year is anyone's guess right now, but with consistent updates from the group's members, it's clear we're not far from their thoughts.
